Resources for schools

Our IB study guides were born in the classroom. The original books written in 2002 were compiled from IB teacher resources, specifically drawing on notes tried, tested and refined over many years on the leading intensive revision programmes for the DP.

While they’re best known for helping students prepare for exams, the Peak IB Study & Revision Guides have been expanded and enhanced over time to become broader companion resources to be used throughout the Diploma Programme. Guides for the Internal Assessment have also been produced for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Economics, while 167 IB Secrets provides a great source of advice, study skills and tips on how to be a successful IB student.

Written in a style that talks to the student directly, all our guides complement the teacher’s voice as much as they do textbooks. This was a very conscious approach by the authors – all of whom are teachers first and foremost – and that’s why the books are popular with IB schools as much as they are for students looking for additional Diploma Programme study support.

“I wrote my Physics books to be used right from the start of the course. By the time exam revision comes, they should be covered with the student’s own notes and highlights.”

Orders and offers

You can purchase directly from us or via your regular supplier. We periodically run special offers, but have volume discounts all year round and we invite you to contact us to discuss your needs or for a quotation.

Due to changes in VAT regulations for our customers in the EU, schools can order directly from us but not through our online store – contact us via email or telephone.

You can browse the online store for details on each title, or request our current list and availability via the contact form.

Book events

With the lifting of restrictions, we are now able to get back out to meet school staff and students. Whether it’s for a school fair, library event, parents’ evening, or just to have us come and show your students our range of resources, get in touch if you would like us to come to your school.

Peak Book Club

Why not run a Peak Book Club for your students? At key times during the year, students place individual orders that are submitted by the club as one, accessing volume discounts normally only available for school purchases. And the good news for Coordinators and Librarians is there’s very little admin for the school to do!

If you are an EU-based school, this could provide a beneficial way for students to access our popular IB resources.

Working with Peak Study Resources

Are you interested in creating study resources with us? They say everyone has a book in them, but you don’t have to take on a whole study guide. In fact, while printed books are at the heart of what we do, we are also building our study support across a range of subjects that might be paper-based or digital text, audio or video formats. As an IB teacher, you are perfectly placed to know the types of resources for your subject that are missing or could be improved. If it aligns with our mission to produce quality IB resources that help students achieve their best, we would love to hear from you!
