Delivery information

This page contains important information for customers purchasing books from our website. If you have any questions, please contact us.

  • Peak Study Resources is based in the UK and originally shipped to students and schools worldwide.

After the UK’s departure from the EU, things became more complicated but we will soon be updating our store to allow orders from EU countries. You can sign up for a notification when the new system has been launched on our main store page here.

We also work with a network of online and high street bookstores to ensure IB students can obtain our guides.

If you are a school or VAT-registered entity, we can supply you directly no matter where you are in the world, just contact us for a sales quote or to place an order.

We currently take orders on this website from parents and students in the following countries:

United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, United States, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Brazil, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, India, Hong Kong, Senegal, South Africa, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Argentina, Egypt.

We have experienced difficulty getting reliable delivery in a number of countries so if your country is not shown above, please contact us for more information.

  • Peak guides are printed in the UK, where sales tax (VAT) on books is 0%, and store prices at checkout reflect that.

If you order via this website for delivery to other countries, sales taxes may not be zero and this could mean the final price is not equivalent to the price paid at checkout. It may also mean that if you find our books at a bookseller in your country they appear to be more expensive, because they include local taxes.

All of our orders are shipped “Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU)” and the recipient is liable for any taxes or customs charges that arise. In a lot of cases there is no tax or duty, but if there are fees to pay they are normally collected by your local postal service or the courier company, not by Peak.

  • We aim to minimise the cost of shipping books to our customers, while balancing speed of delivery with the most economical route. If you are outside the UK, you may find online stores that are cheaper after including postage costs.

Our rates depend on the books in your order and are calculated at checkout:

    UK: from £2.95

    Europe: from £7.95

    USA and Canada: from £10.95

Rest of the world: from £12.95

  • We use a combination of national postal operators and international couriers to fulfil orders. They issue service bulletins which we monitor in order to avoid unforeseen delays. If your order is affected we will try to contact you before shipping.

We may also post general updates in our newsfeed.
